Debatable Research Paper Topics for Your University Course

Debatable Research Paper Topics for Your University CourseThis year, debatable research paper topics include Biblical history and Ancient Near Eastern culture. Students will read four different texts written by historians that discuss Biblical history and Ancient Near Eastern culture in the period between 400 BCE and 400 CE. They will then read four essays discussing these four texts. Reading through the assignments will not only help students understand their assigned texts better, but it will also help them interpret the writings and theories presented in them.Biblical History- The first of the two debatable research paper topics is Ancient Egypt. Read one essay titled Ancient Egypt and the Bible. In this essay, the author discusses the popular beliefs about Egypt in Biblical times. These beliefs often placed Egypt in a bad light because of the oppression of Pharaohs, the sun gods, and other pharaohs. After reading this essay, students will be able to formulate their own opinions o n whether or not Pharaohs did indeed oppress the Egyptian people or if the people themselves were the true oppressors.Ancient Egypt was a pivotal civilization to the development of Christianity. Because of this, the essays can play a role in developing their own beliefs, although they should still be checked for accuracy. Ancient Egypt was very large, so students will likely find more than one essay to read before they are done with this assignment.Ancient Egypt was also known for its Great Pyramids, which are still standing today. These constructions have remained largely intact despite the earthquakes, tsunamis, and fires that have plagued Egypt throughout the centuries. Students should be familiar with the pyramids and understand how they operate and the history of their construction.Ancient Egypt is not the only topic that debatable research paper topics will explore this year. Next year, students will read works by historians and scholars on the relationship between science and religion and the development of ideas like evolution and human evolution. This topic could be a combination of biology, archeology, anthropology, and the study of philosophy.Archaeology and the Ancient Egypt topic again serve as a background for the essay. This is because the number of texts written about Ancient Egypt is very limited. It has been stated that a text was written each and every year since the discovery of the Pyramids. However, the texts may cover vastly different eras of history and only offer a different angle to the issues.Biblical History- The second debatable research paper topics is the Bible. The students will read four texts written by historians and scholars, focusing on the history of the development of Biblical literature, the Bible itself, and Biblical events and reactions in the future. After reading these texts, students will then read an essay on the development of science and religion in the modern day.The authors of the texts focus on various aspects of the Bible, including scientific evidence and textual critiques. The essays do not entirely dispute the Bible, but rather point out problems within the Bible, provide additional information, and seek to develop theories on the origin of the Bible. The text in this year's edition discusses the composition of the Pentateuch, as well as biblical events from a historical perspective. They may also examine the historical use of miracles, special stories, and stories about creation and the Fall of Man.
